Fruit Cocktail Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (No. 2) can fruit cocktail or 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
Preparation
    Mix ingredients and pour into flat cake pan.
    Sprinkle top with 1 cup of brown sugar and 1 cup nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until done.
