Cheese Rounds - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter or margarine
    2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese (1/2 lb.)
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    Tabasco or red pepper sauce to taste
    pecans
Preparation
    Let butter and cheese stand until soft.
    Mix butter, cheese, salt and Tabasco with hands, gradually adding flour.
    Divide into three parts and work into long rolls in wax paper.
    Chill in refrigerator.
    Slice thin; put pecan on top.
    Bake on ungreased baking sheet at 350\u00b0 for about 15 minutes.
    Allow to brown slightly.
    Makes about 100.
    These freeze beautifully and are good for teas and coffees.
