Bran Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. shortening
1 egg
1 c. bran flakes
2 tsp. baking powder
3 Tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. milk
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add egg and beat well.
Stir in milk then bran flakes.
Sift together dry ingredients.
Stir them into bran mixture just enough to moisten them.
Fill muffin pans 2/3 full and bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
