Ingredients

2 egg yolks, whites beaten separately
2 c. buttermilk
2 c. flour, sift and then measure
2 tsp. baking powder
3 Tbsp. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
4 Tbsp. butter, melted
1/3 tsp. salt
Preparation

To well-beaten egg yolks add milk alternately with dry ingredients which have been sifted together.
Mix thoroughly; add butter and when cool, fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Have griddle hot.
