Baked Barbecue Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 lb. spareribs
    salt
    1 large onion
    1 large lemon
    1 c. catsup
    1/3 c. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. Tabasco sauce
    1 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Salt ribs.
    Place in shallow roasting pan, meat side up. Roast at 450\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Drain fat.
    Top each piece with a slice of onion and a slice of lemon.
    Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
    Pour over ribs. Lower oven to 350\u00b0 and bake 1 1/2 hours.
    Baste every 15 minutes. Makes 4 servings.
