Cabbage Wedge Meal - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small cabbage
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. uncooked rice
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    1 c. hot water
    2 tsp. salt
    1/3 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Remove tough outer leaves of cabbage.
    Cut into 6 to 8 wedges. Arrange in a buttered casserole or skillet.
    Put uncooked rice, ground beef and onions between wedges.
    Combine tomatoes, water and seasonings.
    Pour over casserole.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
