German Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    4 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 c. sifted flour
    1 pkg. German sweet chocolate
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. butter flavoring
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs, flavoring and buttermilk.
    Sift together flour, baking soda and salt; add to mixture.
    Mix well, then add chocolate that has been softened in a warm oven or in a double boiler.
    Blend together well.
