Spoon Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. cornmeal
1 pt. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. butter
4 eggs, beaten
1 c. cold milk
Preparation

Bring water and salt to a boil. Stir in cornmeal for 1 minute. Remove from heat and add butter.
Beat well.
Add eggs and beat in milk.
Beat again and pour into hot buttered baking dish. Bake for 25 minutes in hot oven at 400\u00b0 to 450\u00b0.
Serve from baking dish.
