Irish Potato Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
2 c. flour
4 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. each: cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice and vanilla
pinch of salt
1 c. hot mashed potatoes
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs and beat well.
Sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder and spices.
Add milk and flour mixture alternately.
Beat well.
Add hot mashed potatoes, chopped pecans and vanilla last.
Bake in 3 (9-inch) layer pans at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or in Bundt or tube pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
