Cream Cheese Puffs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 (2 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained and chopped
    2 Tbsp. chopped pimento
    1 tsp. minced onion
    2 drops of hot sauce
    1 (8 oz.) can crescent rolls
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine first 5 ingredients; mix well.
    Unroll crescent rolls; leave every two attached, forming four rectangles.
    Spread each rectangle with 1/4 of cream cheese mixture, carefully spreading to edges.
    Beginning with a long side, roll up each rectangle in jelly roll fashion; slice each roll into 6 pieces.
    Coat with pecans, pressing pecans into dough; place on ungreased baking sheets.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Yields 2 dozen appetizers.
