Butterscotch Fingers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 egg, mixed into butter and sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 scant tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
Preparation
    Mix and
    bake 30 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
    Cook in greased pan, 5 x
    8-inches.
    Cut
    into 1-inch pieces and roll in powdered sugar while still hot.
    Cool.
