Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine (room temperature)
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
5 heaping Tbsp. cocoa powder
1 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Grease, and instead of flour, coat pan with cocoa powder, a 10-inch tube pan.
Cream butter and shortening.
Gradually beat in sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each.
Combine flour and dry ingredients. Add alternately with milk.
Add vanilla and beat until smooth. Bake for 1 hour and 25 minutes.
Next day serving is best.
