Meat And Mushroom Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. chuck, chopped
    1 large onion, chopped fine
    1 large can crushed tomatoes
    1 large can whole tomatoes
    1 can tomato paste
    2 cans mushrooms
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 tsp. basil
    1 tsp. oregano
    1/2 c. red wine
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation
    Brown meat.
    Take out and drain on paper towels.
    Brown onion. Drain grease in pan.
    Add tomatoes and paste; cook 15 minutes. Add meat, mushrooms with liquid, salt, pepper, basil, oregano, garlic powder and wine.
    Cover and simmer 1 hour.
    Cook 1 hour more without cover.
    Serve over cooked pasta.
    Serves 8.
