Chili Con Queso Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small onion, minced
    1/2 stick margarine
    1 large can whole tomatoes
    1/2 to 1 lb. cream cheese
    1 can chili peppers, chopped
    1 c. light cream
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute onion well in margarine.
    Add tomatoes, chilies, salt and pepper.
    Simmer for 15 minutes.
    Add cream cheese and when melted, add the cream and heat.
    Serve with tortilla chips.
