Cherry-Glazed Pork Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) jar cherry preserves
    1/4 c. red wine vinegar
    3 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
    3 Tbsp. slivered almonds, toasted
    1 (3 lb.) boneless pork loin roast
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    celery leaves and whole almonds for garnish
Preparation
    Combine first 7 ingredients in a small saucepan.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes.
    Add almonds and sprinkle roast with salt and pepper.
