Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. hot water
4 c. blackberries
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. sugar
pinch of salt
1 stick oleo
milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix 1 cup sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan.
Slowly add hot water.
Boil until thick and clear.
Cool slightly.
Add blackberries.
Pour into 9 x 12-inch pan or larger.
