Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
3 Tbsp. Crisco (shortening)
3/4 c. milk
Preparation
-
Mix salt, flour and powder.
Add Crisco with knife, cutting in.
Add milk to make soft dough.
Drop onto chicken and broth or beef stew.
Cover closely and steam 15 to 20 minutes, then remove cover.
