Double Yellow Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. soft shortening
    1/3 c. soft margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    2 1/4 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. milk
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream together until fluffy in large mixing bowl the shortening, margarine and sugar.
    Beat in thoroughly the eggs. Stir in flour alternately with milk and vanilla.
    Bake in 2 (9-inch) pans for 25 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cool.
    Serve with Pineapple Filling and Double Boiler Frosting.
