American Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. extra wide noodles
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 lb. ground chuck
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1/4 c. sour cream
    1/2 lb. large curd cottage cheese
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1/2 c. minced scallions
    1 Tbsp. minced green peppers
Preparation
    Cook noodles.
    Drain.
    Place half of noodles in bottom of 2-quart casserole dish.
    Brown beef.
    Combine with tomato sauce. Combine next 5 ingredients.
    Place on noodles.
    Add rest of noodles.
    Top with sauce.
    Pour butter over top.
    Place in a 375\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
