Hot Water Pastry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. boiling water
    2/3 c. shortening
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Pour water over shortening and mix with fork until creamy.
    Add flour mixture and mix into a dough.
    Chill thoroughly.
    Makes 1 (9-inch) double crust.
