Freselles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. baking powder
    3/4 Tbsp. salt
    3/4 Tbsp. black pepper (coarse)
    3/4 Tbsp. fennel seed
    3/4 c. oil
    1 c. cold water
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients and mix well.
    Divide dough into 4 parts.
    Roll each part to resemble large bread sticks (about 2-inches wide).
    Can be made smaller.
    Slice off in 1/2-inch pieces and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 10 to 15 minutes on each side or until lightly browned.
