Yellow Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. milk
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Sift together flour
    and sugar; add shortening, 2/3 cup milk and vanilla.
    Beat\t2
    minutes at medium speed.
    Add rest of milk and eggs.
    Beat
    2\tminutes more.
    Pour into 2 greased and floured 8 or 9-inch
    pans.\tBake
    at
    350\u00b0\tfor
    30
    to 40 minutes.
    Use coconut frosting.
