Ingredients

5 Tbsp. butter
2 1/2 c. cooking apples, peeled, cored and cut into 1/2-inch slices
7 Tbsp. sugar
1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp. finely chopped walnuts
2 1/2 c. just cooked egg noodles
1 1/4 c. creamed cottage cheese, sieved
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, well beaten
1 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. sour cream
Preparation

Melt 3 tablespoons butter in frying pan.
Add sliced apples. Sprinkle with 3 tablespoons sugar; stir until apples are completely coated.
Cover; cook 8 minutes.
Remove from heat.
