Budget Beef Burgundy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
    1 c. red wine (Burgundy)
    1 can golden mushroom soup
    2 lb. beef cubes
Preparation
    Do not brown beef, use raw beef; stir all together.
    Put in 2 to 2 1/2-quart casserole dish; stir.
    Cover tightly; bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 45 minutes to 2 hours.
    Mushrooms and/or water chestnuts may be added.
    Do not add tomatoes or potatoes.
    Can be served over noodles or rice.
