Chicken Chow Mein - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. cooked chicken, cut into 1-inch pieces
    1 c. reduced sodium chicken broth
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 medium pepper, chopped (optional)
    1 c. chopped celery
    1/4 c. soy sauce (or more as needed)
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    1 tsp. chicken bouillon granules
    1/4 tsp. ginger
    1 can water chestnuts
    1 can bamboo shoots or 1 c. fresh
    1 (4 oz.) jar mushrooms, undrained
Preparation
    Saute onion, celery, green peppers and mushrooms in 1 1/2 cups chicken broth.
    Mix soy sauce, bouillon, ginger and water.
    Add all ingredients in saute pan.
    Heat thoroughly and serve on rice or chow mein noodles.
