Sweet And Sour Pork - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. pork steak, cut in bite-size pieces
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple (chunks or crushed)
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. vinegar
    3 Tbsp. soya sauce
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 onion, sliced thin
Preparation
    Brown meat.
    Add 1/2
    cup water and simmer (don't boil) until tender, about 1 hour.
    Drain pineapple and combine juice with brown sugar,
    cornstarch,
    vinegar,
    soya sauce and salt. Add to pork and cook
    until
    thick,

    15
    minutes.\tAdd pineapple and onion.\tServe
    with
    rice
    or chow mein noodles. Serves 4 or 6 (use 3 or 4 steaks for 6).
