Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
3/4 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. chopped walnuts
4 c. coarsely chopped apples (peel sour or Pippin, but not Delicious)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
In a large mixing bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and sugar.
Stir in the oil, vanilla, eggs and walnuts.
The batter will be very thick.
Add apples and mix well.
Pour into an ungreased tube pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
Use a pan with a removable bottom or the cake will be hard to remove.
Serve hot or cold with ice cream or whipped cream.
No frosting is necessary.
