Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. quick oats
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white granulated sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    Soak
    oats
    in\tboiling water until cool.
    Cream sugars with Crisco; add eggs and beat well.
    Add oatmeal.
    Mix salt, cinnamon, soda
    and\tflour
    together.
    Then\tadd
    to
    oatmeal mixture. Bake
    in
    9 x 13-inch greased and floured pan for 40 to 50 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Use favorite icing.
