Helen'S Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yeast cake, dissolved in 1/2 c. lukewarm water
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg, beaten
    3 c. flour (approximately)
Preparation
    Melt shortening and sugar in boiling water.
    Cool to lukewarm. Add yeast mixture.
    Add salt and beaten egg; then enough flour to make stiff.
    Store in refrigerator until about 2 hours before baking time.
    Roll out, cut and let rise until double.
    Bake at 450\u00b0.
