Six Week Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (12-oz.) box bran cereal with raisins
    3 c. sugar
    5 c. flour
    5 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. salt
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 c. vegetable oil
    1 qt. buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix cereal, sugar, flour, soda and salt.
    Add eggs, oil and buttermilk.
    Mix well and store, covered, in refrigerator for 1 hour.
    Do not freeze.
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
    Pour batter into greased muffin pans, 2/3 full.
    Bake for 15-20 minutes. Serve warm.
    The batter will keep in the refrigerator for up to 6 weeks.
