Crumb Pies (Cake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 pt. buttermilk
2 eggs
4 c. flour
3 c. sugar
1 c. lard
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder

Preparation

Mix sugar, lard and flour together.
Set aside 1 cup crumbs for topping.
Add remaining dry ingredients to mixture.
Beat in eggs and milk.
