Whole Wheat Soft Pretzels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    3/4 c. warm water
    1 tsp. sugar or 2 c. whole wheat flour
    1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    Stir together yeast, warm water and sugar in a bowl.
    Stir in flour and salt.
    Knead dough 10 times.
    Pinch off 12 pieces. Roll into \"worms\".
    Shape or twist.
    Place on greased baking sheet pan. Brush each shape with beaten egg.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
