Pickled Dill Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. vinegar
    2 c. water
    3 c. sugar
    3 tsp. pickling salt
    3 Tbsp. dill seed (if no fresh dill)
    6 fresh dill
    1 tsp. ground turmeric
    1 tsp. crushed red pepper
    1 c. sliced onions
    3 lb. green beans
Preparation
    Combine first nine (9) ingredients.
    Bring to a boil.
    Cook 3 minutes.
    Wash and trim beans.
    Do not blanch.
    Pack beans in sterile jars.
    Pour vinegar solution over beans.
    Seal.
    Process in water bath for 10 minutes.
