Sauerkraut Cake - cooking recipe

2/3 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
2/3 c. rinsed and chopped kraut
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. water
Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar and eggs.
Add to dry ingredients. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
