Tuna Noodle Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 oz. (about 3 C) med noodles
    6 oz. white tuna, drained
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. diced celery
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. diced green pepper
    1/4 c. chopped pimento
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 can cream of celery soup
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. sharp cheese, shredded
    1/2 c. slivered almonds, optional
Preparation
    Cook noodles in salted water until tender.
    Drain and combine with tuna, mayonnaise, vegetables and salt.
    Blend together soup, milk, cheese;
    heat and stir until cheese is melted.
    Add to noodle mix.
    Pour into a 2 quart casserole and top with almonds. Bake uncovered at 425 degrees for 20 minutes, or until bubbling starts.
    Makes 6 servings.
