Swedish Meatballs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 double saltine crackers
1/2 c.milk
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. onion, minced
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 lb. hamburger and pork, combined
1/3 c. oil
Preparation

Crush crackers with rolling pin.
Mix crumbs with milk and let soften.
Add egg, salt, pepper, onion, nutmeg and meat mixture. Blend gently, but well.
Roll into balls an inch in diameter. Heat oil in skillet and saute meatballs until brown, about 10 minutes.
Remove from pan, discard oil and wipe pan.
Then prepare sauce.
