Holiday Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. self-rising flour
    2 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1 c. walnuts, chopped
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1 (16 oz.) jar red cherries
    1 (8 oz.) jar green cherries
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chopped dates
    2 Tbsp. grated orange peel
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In a large bowl, combine butter, sugar and eggs and mix well. Add milk and blend well and let stand for 5 minutes.
