Butterscotch Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 eggs, separated
    1/2 c. butter
    vanilla
    2 Tbsp. confectioners sugar (to top)
Preparation
    Moisten dry ingredients with part milk.
    Add to remaining milk and cook about 8 minutes.
    Blend in beaten egg yolks and butter. When well blended and thickened, add 1 teaspoon vanilla.
    Cool and place in baked crust.
    Add meringue made of egg whites, confectioners sugar and vanilla.
    Place on top of pie with fork to form peaks.
    Bake meringue in slow oven until browned.
