My Best Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups white sugar
    1 cup of white syrup
    1/2 cup water
Preparation
    Bring water to boil.
    Add the white sugar and syrup.
    Boil till it will spin a thread when tested with a spoon.
    Add 2 cups raw peanuts and pinch of salt.
    Add peanuts and cook slowly over low heat till a golden brown.
    Cook to 300\u00b0.
    Remove from heat and add 2 tablespoon butter.
    Add 2 teaspoons baking soda, 1 teaspoon vanilla.
    Quickly stir and pour out on buttered cookie sheet, spreading it as thin as you can.
