Mexican Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, chopped
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 (1 lb.) can chili
    1 (10 oz.) can tomato soup
    1 medium size pkg. corn chips
    1 c. grated cheese
    dash of catsup
Preparation
    Brown ground beef in skillet.
    Simmer until done.
    Add chopped onion and salt.
    Add chili to tomato soup; simmer while stirring. Mixture should be consistency of gravy.
    If dry, add small amount of water.
    Line large casserole with 1/2 of the corn chips.
    Pour in the meat mixture and add remaining chips on top.
    Sprinkle with cheese and catsup.
    Bake in 400\u00b0 oven until cheese is melted. Serve hot.
    Makes 8 servings.
