Savory Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. shredded cabbage
1 can tomatoes
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. chopped onion
1 Tbsp. butter
3 c. cooked rice
1/2 c. cracker crumbs
1/2 c. shredded cheese
2 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation

Combine first five ingredients in large saucepan.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat.
Simmer 5 minutes.
Place 1/2 rice in a greased 2-quart casserole dish.
Layer with cabbage mixture. Repeat layers.
Combine rest of ingredients.
Stir well.
Sprinkle over top.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
