Chocolate Coconut Mounds - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. confectioners sugar
1 (14 oz.) pkg. flaked coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
whole almonds or other nuts
1/4 lb. paraffin
2 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation

Combine confectioners sugar, coconut, vanilla and sweetened condensed milk. Mold into pieces (any size). Place an almond or other nut on top of each. Refrigerate overnight on a cookie sheet. In the morning, melt the paraffin and chocolate chips together over very low heat. Dip candy pieces into the chocolate mixture and place them on wax paper. Refrigerate until set.
