Breakfast Crumb Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
2 c. flour
nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon as desired
1 egg
2 Tbsp. molasses
1 c. sour milk
1 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in milk
Preparation

Mix the sugar, Crisco, flour and spices together as for a pie dough.
Set
aside\t1/2 cup of mixture for topping.
To the remainder,\tadd
the
egg, molasses, sour milk and baking soda. Mix
together.
Bake
in
an 8 x 8-inch square pan; top with the 1/2
cup of crumbs that you set aside.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
