Homemade Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8-inch) crust (unbaked)
    1/3 c. butter or margarine
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 c. light Karo syrup
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar. Beat eggs into creamed mixture, one at a time. Add rest of ingredients. Pour mixture into pie crust and bake in a 325\u00b0 oven for 45 to 60 minutes.
