Pork Chops And Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 (1/2 to 3/4 inch thick) pork loins
    salt and pepper
    3 Tbsp. melted margarine
    6 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
    3 medium carrots, thinly sliced
    2 medium onions, sliced
    2 c. warm water
    1 (3/4 oz.) pkg. brown gravy mix
    dash of garlic salt
Preparation
    Season chops with salt and pepper; brown in butter on both sides.
    Remove chops from skillet; set aside.
    Spread potatoes, carrots and onions evenly in skillet.
    Place pork chops on top of vegetables.
    Combine water, gravy mix and garlic salt; pour into skillet.
    Cover and simmer 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
