Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sweet potatoes, cooked
    1/3 c. evaporated milk
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1/4 c. butter, melted
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    9-inch pastry shell
Preparation
    Mash hot sweet potatoes in a bowl; add milk and mix.
    Beat together 3 eggs, 1/2 cup sugar and melted butter in separate bowl. Then add to potato mixture, also adding cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and vanilla (brandy may be substituted), and beat until of custard consistency.
    Pour into 9-inch pie shell.
    Bake in 425\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until firm.
