Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 red peppers, chopped
    12 green peppers, chopped
    3 onions, chopped
    2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    vinegar
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over peppers and onions.
    Let stand 10 minutes.
    Drain and add sugar and salt.
    Cover with vinegar. Simmer 20 minutes.
    Turn into clean jars.
    Makes 2 pints.
