Easy Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 (5 fluid oz.) can evaporated milk
    12 large marshmallows
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 c. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In a heavy 2-quart saucepan, combine sugar, evaporated milk, marshmallows and salt.
    Heat over medium heat until bubbly all over.
    Continue boiling and stirring 5 minutes more.
    Remove from heat and stir in butter, chocolate chips, nuts and vanilla until chips are completely melted.
    Spread in a buttered 8-inch square pan.
    Refrigerate until hardened.
    Makes 64 (1-inch) square pieces.
