Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1/4 c. water
    1 3/4 c. raw peanuts
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Bring syrup, sugar and\twater
    to a boil.
    Add peanuts. Cook until light amber
    color
    (300\u00b0).
    Remove from heat.
    Add salt, butter and soda.
    Stir fast.
    Pour out onto well-greased cookie sheet while mixture
    is
    still foamy.
    When cool, break into pieces.
