Bran Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. boiling water
2 1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 beaten eggs
1/2 qt. buttermilk
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. bran flakes
2 c. All-Bran
Preparation

Mix soda into the boiling water and cool mixture.
Cream together the remaining ingredients.
Add the water and soda mixture.
Bake in papered muffin tins at 375\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
Mixture will keep in the refrigerator for up to one week.
